A long-time San Francisco resident, Chef Amod Singh possesses a deep understanding of the Bay Area’s diverse ingredients and bounty, which he brings forward in Blue Mermaid’s elevated menus. Since taking the reins of the Blue Mermaid kitchen in June of 2023, Chef Amod has introduced an array of inventive dishes for breakfast, lunch, brunch, and dinner.

With extensive experience in the culinary landscape of the San Francisco Bay Area, Chef Amod has thrived in the demanding world of fine dining, and brings exceptional talent to Blue Mermaid’s culinary team. Prior to his role at Blue Mermaid, Chef Amod was Executive Sous Chef at Taj Campton Place in San Francisco, where his culinary talents earned the restaurant two Michelin stars.
